To know Jesus and to know him as “the Christ, the Son of the living God”
is to know truth, for He said “I am the way, the truth, and the life”.
We know that “grace and truth came by Jesus Christ”. We know that those
who worship God “must worship him in spirit and in truth”. I do not
believe that one must belong to a particular church or denomination in
order to know Christ and the truth or to worship God in spirit and in
truth. I believe Truth can withstand the most intense scrutiny under all
circumstances. I believe the Truth should never be hid from God's
people. I believe the
Truth should never be distorted or perverted. David wrote, "The Lord is nigh unto all
them that call upon Him, to all that call upon Him in Truth" (Psalms 145:18). Jesus
said, "Ye shall know the Truth, and the Truth shall make you free" (John 8:32).
God's word is Truth. Christ prayed to His Father for his disciples, "Sanctify them
through truth, thy word is truth" (John 17:17).
God is Truth. Christ is Truth. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth.
We believe as John wrote, "no lie is of the truth". I believe that
when false doctrines and practices are deliberately taught in the name
of Christ, it becomes the responsibility of God’s people to speak out
publicly with The Truth as it is in Christ Jesus. Therefore I have dedicated this Forum to the presentation of the Truth and
will endeavor to publish only the Truth.
I
ask you to search the Scriptures (I use the KJV) to see if the things I
publish are true. My
effort to publish and maintain these web pages is a labor of love. While some articles are written specifically to those in the Baptist family
(because I am an independent Baptist minister), the rest, I hope, will
serve to edify all of God's children regardless of what faith and order
they belong to. I hope you enjoy your visit to my Web Pages

My prayer is the Lord will give us all a better
understanding of His word and a more personal knowledge of His Son Jesus Christ.
